Locos Tacos

I'm a lil different from most twenty-somethings when I say I rarely go to Taco Bell (I'm more of an Arby's/Wendy's girl if I visit a fast food chain). But for months I've had the itch to try out their Doritos Locos Tacos. Doritos are my ultimate favorite grocery store junk food of all time. To be more specific, Cool Ranch Doritos. Clearly, I'm no food snob. I will eat high and low brow food, even if the low brow food does include some questionable meat.

Today, I ordered one supreme taco of each flavor: Nacho Cheese and Cool Ranch.

The Verdict: The Nacho Cheese definitely had more flavor than the Cool Ranch but overall the flavor was subtle. It was more of a Doritos Flavored Taco Shell than a Doritos shaped like a Taco Shell, does that make sense? 

In the end, a taco's a taco. But it definitely satisfied my hunger while shopping. Maybe I won't go another three years before I step inside another Taco Bell, but I think I'll order something else next time.
