Twin Cakes

It's late October which means another year has passed and I'm a year older. And in celebration of Twin Sista's and my birthday, I decided to bake us twin mini cakes.

In June, I bought a mini springform pan in hopes of learning how to make beautiful layer cakes on a smaller scale with mini cakes. This was a modest attempt at a naked frosted cake but now that I received a rotating cake decorating stand for my birthday, hopefully I'll be able to frost many beautiful cakes in the future. 

The Recipe: Molly Yeh's Pumpkin Layer Cake with Cream Cheese Frosting, which was the perfect way for me to crack open and use my first can of pumpkin this fall!
